A NOTE ON SPECIAL CASES
The "Athletics County"
for a particular area may not be the "Administrative County" for that
area and, in any event, Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man, not being
part of England at all, are very special cases.
The following notes may be found helpful:
Guernsey is, athletically, part of Hampshire, but the
Guernsey
Commonwealth Games Association site may give information. GO THERE
Jersey is, athletically, part of Hampshire, but the
Jersey Athletics
site also covers the island. GO THERE
Isle of Man is, athletically, part of Merseyside but the Isle of Man
Athletic Association has its own site. GO THERE
Isle of Wight is athletically part of Hampshire
Isles of Scilly are covered athletically by Cornwall
London is covered athletically by the following counties: Essex,
Hertforshire, Kent, Middlesex and Surrey
